Worldwide Terms & Conditions

Please read the information listed below as each booking is subject to Smart Events International standard terms and conditions.

Payment Terms

Upon completion and return of the registration form, full payment is required no later than 5 business days from the date of invoice. We reserve the right to refuse admission to the conference if payment has not been received.

Cancellation, Postponement and Substitution Policy

Smart Events International allows and accepts cancelations, substitutions and credit transfers within the following conditions:

If the registered event participant cancels participation within more than 60 days before the event, these are the options that Smart Events International provides as compensation:
1. Full refund
2. Opportunity to use the ticket for any of the Smart Events International events in Canada, USA or Europe within the next 36 months.
3. Opportunity to transfer the ticket to a colleague, associate or friend, who might use the same ticket for the same event or for any of the Smart Events International events in Canada, USA or Europe within the next 36 months.

If the registered event participant cancels participation within less than 60 days before the event, this are the options that Smart Events International provides as compensation:
1. Opportunity to use the ticket for any of the Smart Events International events in Canada, USA or Europe within the next 36 months.
2. Opportunity to transfer the ticket to a colleague, associate or friend, who might use the same ticket for the same event or for any of the Smart Events International events in Canada, USA or Europe within the next 36 months.

Smart Events International is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration or cancellation/postponement of an event. Smart Events International shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event this conference is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of this conference impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, labour strike, extreme weather or other emergency.

Please note that while speakers and topics were confirmed at the time of publishing, circumstances beyond the control of the organizers may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the speakers and/or topics. As such, Smart Events International reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised speakers and/or topics if necessary without any liability to you whatsoever. Any substitutions or alterations will be updated on our web page as soon as possible.

Intellectual Property & Copyright

All Smart Events International materials in relation to Smart Events International events are exclusively reserved and any unauthorised duplication, publication or distribution is strictly prohibited. Smart Events International shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the client or by any third party arising from the use or reproduction of any connected materials. It is also agreed that Smart Events International has no responsibility to ensure that the necessary permissions have been obtained by the client in relation to the use of names, people, trademarks, or any other copyrighted materials. Smart Events International reserves the right to use the aforementioned materials for marketing and/or commercial purposes; This contract supersedes any previous agreement, between the parties relating to the All Smart Events International materials.

All materials, including but not limited to videos, slides, and reading materials, provided during our virtual and in-person training sessions are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Any sharing, redistribution, copying, or reproduction of these materials is strictly prohibited.

Jurisdiction

Smart Events International agreements shall be governed in accordance with the law of the Republic of Macedonia and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Macedonian Courts. However only Smart Events International is entitled to waive this right and submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in which the client’s office is located

Information Sharing

Liabilities

Smart Events International is not liable for services rendered and delivered to participants on the event day from third parties such as hotels, catering, parking and other service providers.

Smart Events International, its employees and trainers are not legally liable to any actions undertaken by training participants after completion of the training, related to their careers, networking or other.

Smart Events International cannot be held liable for occurring of potential ‘force majeure‘ circumstances – unforeseen circumstances caused by “superior force” outside of reach or control of the event provider such as: vendor or venue-related complications; flight delays or transportation problems; human factor related issues – illness or similar events that prevent the trainer from delivering the training; regional, political or geographical complications, such as epidemics, war, unforeseen security issues, strikes, and other problems or obstacles.

In an event of  ‘force majeure‘ circumstances, Smart Events International will make sure to deliver the training or organize the event in a way which is best and most acceptable for all parties involved, which may include change of trainer, change of venue, change of date or any other change necessary.

Delivery Policy

Our Booking & Reservations team will get in touch with you immediately once you fulfill the online application form for certain event.
Every applicant receives an E-ticket – an official “Confirmation for Registration” within 24 hours once they complete the online registration and click the “Apply Now” button. Average waiting time for this Confirmation email that serves as an E-ticket is 40 mins – 4 hours depending of number of participants within the day.
The Confirmation for Registration email consists information about: type of ticket reserved, topic of the training event, location, date, contact details of event host, full event agenda and additional logistical instructions for parking at the venue and similar.
This confirmation email is personalised, and our Booking & Reservations support team always answers any additional questions that might be generated from it.t details of event host, full event agenda and additional logistical instructions for parking at the venue and similar.
Once participants arrive at the venue they register by presenting their name and company name and put a written signature on the participants list, presented by the welcoming team at the entrance.

Testimonials

Smart Events International is thankful of client feedback at our events. Smart Events International may use clients’ company logo, quotes & testimonials in future marketing literature.

Pricing

All prices quoted by Smart Events International are excluding VAT with regards to advertising of the price for any taxable items or services and the VAT rate is specified by the relevant national tax authority at this point in time.

Registration decline

Smart Events International reserves the right to review and decline any registration at its own discretion.

Discounts

All ‘Early Booking’ Discounts require payment at time of registration and before the cut-off date in order to receive any discount. Any discounts offered whether by Smart Events International (including team discounts) must also require payment at the time of registration. All discount offers cannot be combined with any other offer.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WEBINARS AND ONLINE TRAININGS

Smart Events International allows and accepts cancelations, substitutions and credit transfers within the following conditions:

If the registered event participant cancels participation within more than 60 days before the event, these are the options that Smart Events International provides as compensation:

2. Opportunity to use the credit for any live event or webinar organized by Smart Events International events in Canada, USA or Europe within the next 36 months.
3. Opportunity to transfer the credit to a colleague, associate or friend, who might use the same credit for the same event or for any of the Smart Events International events in Canada, USA or Europe or webinars or online courses within the next 36 months.

If the registered event participant cancels participation within less than 60 days before the event, these are the options that Smart Events International provides as compensation:
1. Opportunity to use the credit for any live event or webinar organized by Smart Events International events in Canada, USA or Europe within the next 36 months.
2. Opportunity to transfer the credit to a colleague, associate or friend, who might use the same credit for the same event or for any of the Smart Events International events in Canada, USA or Europe or webinars or online courses within the next 36 months.

In a case of technology-related issue:

If the participant had been enable to follow the online course due to technology related issue the training provider will:

– send a recording or the online training to the participants;

– transfer the paid credit so that the participant can also log in to any future online training by Smart Events International.

In a case of scheduling conflict:

If the participant missed the online training due to a scheduling conflict:

– send a recording or the online training to the participants;

– transfer the paid credit so that the participant can also log in to any future online training by Smart Events International.

In a case of ‘force majeure‘:

Smart Events International cannot be held liable for occurring of potential ‘force majeure‘ circumstances – unforeseen circumstances caused by “superior force” outside of reach or control of the event provider such as: technology provider complications; participant’s side technology-related complication; human factor related issues – illness or similar events that prevent the trainer from delivering the training; regional, political or geographical complications, such as epidemics, war, unforeseen security issues, strikes, and any other unforseen problems or obstacles.

In an event of  ‘force majeure‘ circumstances, Smart Events International will make sure to deliver the online training in a way which is best and most acceptable for all parties involved, which may include change of trainer, change of webinar technology provider, change of date or any other change necessary.
